Louise James

Head of Affiliate Marketing
Treat others as you would wish to be treated.

Lou is an affiliate marketing veteran and while her youthful looks may fool you, she’s been in the industry from the early days. She’s Silverbean’s longest-standing member of the team and naturally, is a beacon of knowledge and encouragement for not only the affiliate team she leads, but the wider agency team, too. She’s also recently taken on leadership of the Paid Marketing team, working with Hannah and the rest of the team to strengthen and innovate our PPC offering. Just call her Queen of Performance Marketing!

If there’s anything Lou doesn’t know about affiliate marketing (there isn’t, we checked!) then it’s just not worth knowing – or it’s made up.

Over her time here at Silverbean she’s transformed the service to award-nominated status, and delivered outstanding campaigns for clients like Charlotte Tilbury, MONNIER Freres, Lulu Guinness and Pretty Green, whilst mentoring her team to do the same.

Lou also gets to attend market-leading conferences and events to keep her finger on the industry pulse and is often asked to contribute articles on affiliate marketing for the likes of PerformanceIn and other industry-leading blogs, gladly sharing her pearls of wisdom with lucky readers outside of the agency.

She’s a natural leader and has helped build so many careers in affiliate marketing. We bet you wish she was your manager, too…

Did you know?

Louise’s first EVER job was at Clark’s Footwear – and to this day, she can still fit children’s shoes with the check point list to a tee. Life skills right there!

Working at Silverbean:

Having worked here for over a decade, I’ve witnessed many a change Silverbean! But one thing remains a constant for me, and that’s the positive, encouraging and fun working environment we strive to have – and that’s what I love about working here. I’ve had jobs in the past where I’ve felt that “Sunday evening dread” as Monday morning looms – but I can honestly say I’ve never once had that feeling here. Yes, we all work bloody hard, and YES, there are times when we feel quite stressed. But there’s always someone to help you out, just as a friend or a soundboard. I head into the office knowing I have a day ahead with my friends, not just my colleagues – and no matter what the day throws at us, we will get through it.

#1 item on bucket list:

Before I am 40, I need to visit New York at Christmas, and skate at Rockefeller Center – it’s a result of Serendipity being my favourite film. Ok, that’s my grown up answer, it’s actually because of Home Alone 2!
