Yep, our work with Traidcraft has once again, seen us shortlisted for a prestigious industry award.
A little bit about Traidcraft…
Traidcraft’s vision is a world free from the scandal of poverty, where trade is just, and people and communities can flourish. Acting as one of the biggest voices within the fair trade industry they are responsible for countless development projects, along with raising the profile of fair trade on a national and international level.
On the digital side of things to help Traidcraft achieve their vision, Silverbean has managed to transform the outlook of their organic search campaign from stale YoY performance, to impressive uplifts from all organic search defined metrics. We smashed targets that were set and surpassed them by a massive 39% over a 4 month project!

As if that nomination wasn’t exciting enough, our very own Tom Etherington is shortlisted for The Rising Star award. Tom, a Search Marketing Consultant who leads on our biggest SEO client campaigns, including Rowlands Pharmacy, joined Silverbean back in March 2014, as a Search Marketing Executive. His digital prowess quickly shone through and within 6 months, he was promoted to Search Marketing Consultant, achieving some record-breaking results along the way.
This isn’t the first time Tom has seen himself on a shortlist as a result of his undeniable digital talent. Tom was named in the ‘Young Digital Marketer of the Year’ shortlist at the Northern Digital Awards in January, and back in December, Tom was Highly Commended for The Drum Agency Rising Star 2015. What a guy!
To be shortlisted for these awards just reconfirms our knowledge that we have some pretty impressive talent at Silverbean! We have our fingers firmly crossed for June 8th!
