The Most Fashionable Man at Silverbean (certified), Richie joined the agency after years of experience in fashion retail, working for brands like Ted Baker and Vivienne Westwood. While working in retail (and casually bagging himself a spot on Dame Westwood’s Christmas card list!) he obtained a degree from the University of Sunderland in Business & Marketing. This combination of fashion knowledge and experience, alongside professional experience in marketing, are quite the arsenal in his role within our affiliate team.
Richie manages the accounts for a number of clients, including Berghaus, Aphrodite 1994, Pretty Green, and Explore, as well as supporting on big names like ATG Tickets and ScS. His hard work and skill in the affiliate marketing field saw him promoted to Affiliate Marketing Manager in early 2016.
He also fancies himself as a bit of a Peter Jones, after recently investing in a friend’s wine company. You can just see him now, can’t you? Decked out in Vivienne Westwood with the lady herself, supping on his friend’s wine, with his two prize Poochon pups at his side. The dream, right there.
Richie’s skills include copy writing, trend analysis, link-building, social media and outreach for affiliate campaigns, and he boasts working proficiency in Italian, French and German, which come in handy for his work on international affiliate campaigns.
Oh, and he has a phobia of beans. Luckily for us though, not the silver ones.
When Richie was in year 4 he painted a copy of Vincent Van Gogh’s Sunflowers as a school project. It was displayed in the Laing Art gallery and after some serious negotiation, an art collector bought it for the princely sum of £500.
