Simon moved up to Newcastle over a decade ago, kicking things off with a degree in Business Management from Northumbria University.
He decided to stay based on his love of the city and his support of the mighty Toon Army, not to mention it’s where he met his now wife. Simon built a portfolio of valuable experience in his field by working his way up the marketing ladder at a major bank, before finally joining Team Silverbean in 2011.
Simon is our Senior Optimisation & Analytics Manager, helping clients to drive their online performance by identifying weaknesses across their digital offering and developing methodologies to overcome them.
He uses his knowledge of Analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, customer surveying and user testing, combined with testing platforms and tools to collect key information that affects digital performance. Using this enables him to make changes that deliver measurable impact for clients like Distance Learning College & Training, Explore!, Journey Latin America, Danone, Hays Travel, N.Peal and A Wood Idea.

Simon is an avid Newcastle United fan and has a season ticket for his beloved Toon, even though he is actually from Cambridge. He puts this down to Alan Shearer being the greatest footballer on the planet, a point that he is happy to debate at length with anyone that will listen… which isn’t many people.
