Sports fan and another member of the Southern contingent, Will joined us back in late summer 2016 as Paid Marketing Executive.
As well as managing on his own accounts from very early on in his Silverbean career, Will regularly supports the Commercial Team with AdWords audits/recommendations and Paid Managers with campaign optimisation; adopting tools to speed up weekly reports and offering a second pair of hands on our priority accounts.
He is the account lead for Luxe-brands N.Peal, Amanda Wakeley and Godiva. As well as A Wood Idea and IAS Medical. Creating intelligent paid marketing campaigns that hit objectives and drive results. It’s clear how he has made it to Paid Marketing Manager in under a year!
He graduated with a First Class (Hons) degree in Sport Management from Northumbria University in 2015, where one of his highlights was a 100% mark for a ‘teach kids to swim’ event in his final year. His love of all things sport led to a role as a Crew Member for The Great Run Company, before embarking on his first graduate marketing-esque role, working as Community and Sponsorship Manager for a start-up app company. It was in this role, that he cut his teeth in the realms of Paid Marketing, perfectly setting him up to join our award-winning squad.
As well as his love of sports, he’s also big into travel, having ventured to Asia several times and undertaken a Marketing & Events internship.
He also has quite an interesting nick-name, but we’ll leave it to you to ask him yourself about that one…
Will is a big fan of Asia and has been lucky enough to travel there three times, travelling around countries such as Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and also going on placement in Taiwan where he taught as a guest lecturer at a University on a few occasions.
