You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.
With a degree in Marketing and fantastic experience working in marketing roles in the education and retail sectors, Nichola was the obvious choice to join Team Affiliate. She has experience in marketing strategy, social media and content marketing, blogger outreach and search marketing, so has taken to affiliate marketing like a duck to water.
Nichola joined us back in November 2014 as an executive, later promoted to Affiliate Marketing Manager in spring 2015 thanks to her innate affiliate marketing capabilities and campaign successes from the start. She now manages campaigns for OKA Direct, Pink Boutique and Charlotte Tilbury AU, LOMBOK, Simba Sleep and Just Sheepskin.
In Spring 2017, Nichola achieved another milestone, being promoted to Senior Affiliate Marketing Manager and leading the team along with Lou and Nic.
As well as getting to grips with her new role, Nichola is also using 2016 to try new things, so far managing a trip to Australia already, as well as scratching sushi off her list. Naturally, as an agency full of food obsessives, we commend her for this and look forward to the next installation of ‘Nichola tries…’ Stay tuned!
Did you know?
Back in 2011, Nichola was Metro Radio’s Runaway Bride. The competition included a £10 note, getting as far away from Newcastle as possible, and some very questionable wedding attire.
When I joined Silverbean I had very limited knowledge or experience in digital and affiliate marketing. Here I have been given the chance to broaden my horizon and progress further in my career than I thought possible in such a short space of time. I am continuously encouraged to grow, learn new things and take on new challenges. The atmosphere at work is very relaxed which makes for a more productive office, in my opinion. I work with a great bunch of people who know how to let their hair down and have lots of fun and the many social events are testament to this.
#1 item on bucket list:
I’ve never really thought about an actual bucket list, but I do want to visit as many countries as possible in my lifetime, so I try to not go on holiday to the same place twice.
